RoGoria
RoGoria: Voyage of Tears | Kota Kai Lovett
1 post | 1 read
After she rejects yet another suitor, Princess RoGoria Sumner's life is in danger. Her politically corrupt father threatens her brutally, forcing RoGoria to turn her back on her heritage and flee the royal city of Sheol. Her escape takes her to the colony of Metsa, where she begins a new life, hiding amongst the working class. When RoGoria stumbles across a young girl being attacked by a deranged man, she inadvertently draws the attention of the city's gregarious mayor. After meeting with the mayor himself, it becomes clear to RoGoria that he has no desire to turn her in to her father. Instead, he commissions her to retrieve an ancient artifact known as Sylvestra's Tears, which is said to imprison the very essence of magic. At first skeptical of the mere suggestion that magic is real, RoGoria finds proof of its existence in Fristlyn, a gigantic talking spider with a dark past of his own, as well as a burdensome curse. Traveling alongside an old flame she believed to be dead, his wife, an insane old woman, and the despondent spider, RoGoria steps into a world much bigger than she ever believed possible. Only through unlocking the secrets of Relica's past can RoGoria make the right choice between reawakening the world or leaving it eternally damned.

Unfortunately, I fell off of Litsy again for a while. The last two months have been a study in health and wellness difficulties in my household, but things may finally be starting to look up again.

In the meantime, some recent reorganization led me to the above photo of my new TBR shelf. This isn't all of the TBR books I have, but it's the current top selection. 😁

sprainedbrain Good to see you, and I hope things keep getting better for you! 2y
