Isabel is a WWII codebreaker who is working hard to get to Hawaii, where her brother was killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor. Alongside her story is a second timeline in 1965 at the opening of a new hotel in Kona. The stories come together in a satisfying way I wasn‘t expecting. I really enjoyed this one!

Excellent book! I read a lot of WW2 based novels, but this was my first based in Pearl Harbor. Kept you guessing and my jaw genuinely dropped a few times. Great read.

Memorable characters, mysteries, & intrigue. A tropical delight for historical fiction fans. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⁣
