I have enjoyed the books I've read by Christian fiction author Janice Thompson so far. So when I saw this new dog related christian cozy mystery series i was so excited. While I would say it's a little light on the mystery part I still loved it and can't wait for the rest of the series. I also enjoyed that it was set in Brenham, Texas. Besides the main character (and Beau Jangles) Grandma Peach is one of the stand out characters. She's funny!

so-so

Cute start to a new series, but our protagonist is a bit too ditzy and judgy for me. The mystery was frothy and fun though and the side characters are fun, so I‘ll be checking out book 2!
