"Rival photographers are forced to collaborate on a body-positive lingerie campaign, but they might have to readjust their focus when sparks fly. Photographer Cassie Harris loves her job-her company, Buxom Boudoir, makes people look beautiful and feel empowered with her modern twist on classic pinup photography. Cassie's best friend, Dana, is about to launch her own lingerie line and wants Cassie to shoot and direct the career-changing national campaign. But company politics and Dana's complicated pregnancy interfere, and Cassie finds herself-a proud plus-size Black woman-not behind the camera but in front of it. Though she's never modeled herself, Cassie's pretty sure she can handle the sheer underwear and caution-tape bralettes. She's not sure she can work so intimately with the chosen photographer, her longtime competitor in the Chicago photography scene, Reid Montgomery. But there's more to Reid's easygoing demeanor and flashy photo style. Their chemistry is undeniable on set, and feelings can develop faster than film..."--

Loved loved loved!!!
Great rep, FMC is Black and plus-sized, so much body positivity and size difference representation. I love an enemies to lovers, & while one of them is decked out in gorgeous lingerie nonetheless! Pretty good communication, I hate when deceit is the catalyst for the 3rd act break up but it isn‘t swept under the rug, it‘s appropriately dealt with. Love all the main and side characters, this book is too fun and good and lovely

Pickpick

Enemies to lovers romance book with bipoc mc and cast and body positivity/plus size rep. Cute comfy story. 1) I don‘t like when romance stories use deceit as the starting point of their story but 2) I do love when the couple communicates with each other instead of letting things inevitably be discovered and manufacturing a conflict. And this book had both of those things.

I don't often pre-order books, but I needed this one from the moment I heard about it. Enemies to lovers. Cassie was going to photograph her friends new lingerie line until the friend asked her to model it instead. Now, they must use a rival photographer, Reid, to get the photo and sparks fly. Plus size rep too. Love to see it.

It releases July 19, so not long to wait.
