Mehso-so

Getting back into the swing of reading (and listening.) Lately I‘ve been getting into a lot of old-school sci-fi. However, this wasn‘t my favorite listen this year. Strong beginning and strong ending, I‘ll give it that. I also like Bone‘s writing style, but he focused WAY too much on worldbuilding and info dumping that it ended up reading as BOOOOOOOOOOOORING! Plus the concept was not that interesting but there were some interesting things though

jeannasser I will make two reviews soon about two of my favorite old school sci-fi listens so far this year so if you‘re interested— 👀👀 2y
tokorowilliamwallace I've got a lot of old school SFF from the 50s through the 80s, plus lots of thrillers from the 70s, and I've even picked up some beat cop/detective stuff from the 50s; currently going through three of them. I don't know, they just write and conceptualize different then from after the 90s in a way I prefer. 2y
