It seems I'm back in #Americanhistory mode. This book isn't the one tagged (not yet in the database), but it's by the same author. This is a biography of Edwin M. Stanton, and was reviewed in this morning's NY Times Book Review. Again, another politician I know little about, except that he always seemed to get a bad rap. Ron Chernow has a blurb on the back cover, so I'm hopeful.
