This was a great marriage of memoir and pop sci. Reisman seems to be a genuinely curious person and applies this to his medical practice, which has taken him around the world, from Alaska to the Himalayas. Each chapter starts with a body part like skin or the liver and he uses his travels and experiences to elucidate aspects of that organ.

Megabooks @BarbaraBB yes, so far! I‘m about to finish this. Not appreciating the fat phobia, but I‘m enjoying it for sure. (edited) 2y

🎧 THIS WAS MY JAM! 💯

I loved the medical information being imparted through funny, awkward & heartwarming real life studies. You will hear stories about poop, different cultures & interesting places.

Dr Reisman takes you on a trip through your insides. You‘ll learn something interesting & laugh while you‘re at it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
