Finished this last week! An excellent conclusion to the Ellery Hathaway series! It went with the series‘ roots which was Coben. There‘s a TV personality & Hollywood mogul who want to interview the infamous convicted serial killer Francis Coben in prison. He claims he can give names to more victims if he can see Ellery. It‘s a great suspenseful story with good pacing and twists along the way. I am pleased with the ending for Ellery and Reed.

MyNamesParadise I cannot recommend this series enough!! If you like mysteries and crime and it‘s effects on it‘s victims and loved ones and thrillers than this series is for you!! 6mo

I really love this series, and while I hope there are more books in the future, I loved where this one ended! This time Ellery and Reed have to confront Coben- the man who kidnapped Ellery and made Reed the poster boy for the FBI.

5 books in, Resident badass Ellery, faces her demons again, with a new face to face interview with Francis Coben. An interview she agrees to do in the hopes that he will give up the final resting place of another of his victims. Things promptly head sideways when Francis Coben stages an elaborate escape, and he re enters the world set to inflict fresh pain. With fresh blood being spilt, Ellery takes center stage against her nightmares.

First, I‘d like to thank Goodreads for the ARC. I really enjoyed this book. It was such a page turner! It had just the right amount of gruesome, which I like because I‘m a horror buff. The authors writing was good enough that I felt symptoms of anxiety at times as I was reading. I would definitely recommend this book and this author.

Last Seen Alive is a twisted, and at times, a suspenseful novel. The characters are quite interesting, and I liked the strength, as well as the vulnerability, of Ellery; her flaws and scars are what makes her so strong. The only thing that I had an issue with was that there is one character who was a big part of the latest Coben saga, yet he seemed to disappear at the end without an explanation.

Cathyloves2read Perfect picture for this book!! 2y

FULL REVIEW 1/25

Ellery is the only victim of serial killer Francis Coben who survived because Reed found her locked in a closet on the Coben family's farm.

Coben wants to meet with Ellery in his prison cell since he didn't finish what he did 17 years ago.

Tense, tense, tense and excellent as all of Joanna‘s books. 5/5
