pickAnother great book in the series. Tensions run high in this one and definitely a page turner. I like that there are not too many characters to get to know. The Vampires are bad, sexy and Beautiful. The demons are deadly and old with a lot of power. And yet a Witch is the strongest even if she doesn't think so. This series should be read in order.

This is book 5 of The Hollows series I‘ve been slowly rereading. This book is a huge turning point in the series and I forgot that so much happens in this one book - most of which changes the dynamics of Rachel‘s world, including the twist ending. From here, Rachel starts to really come into her own as a powerful witch. 5⭐️
I've started 4 books so far. I should continue to read them. I should. 🤔

pickRachel is just going to have to accept her life isn't normal. Demons showing up in her kitchen and learning how to twist curses was never her plan. But the world isn't as black and white as she wanted to believe. Though this one is a bit slower than the previous books, it is important to the series and broke my heart. Well done Kim, well done.

Hold on! I just found two more #dressesoncovers! I suddenly remembered there was one Elemental Assassin cover of her in a ruined dress, and then I saw this Hollows one on the other end of the shelf. I forgot Rachel Morgan tended to #kickbuttinheels. I think a reread will be in order. #ReadJanuary
This book is well written and intense and I love the series. But this book wrecked me! At one point I actually #ThrewItAcrossTheRoom! It's been years since I read it and I still get upset when I think about it!
