The 5th in the Cork O'Connor series came up so jumped on it. Absolutely love this series.

Of course my library doesn't have the next book! It only ends on a cliff hanger!

I really enjoyed this installment in the Cork O'Connor series and would recommend the series to those who enjoy mysteries.

Great next chapter in the Cork O‘Connor adventures! I have 14 left in the series

In the end, Mercy Falls took a little twist that I wasn‘t expecting, but it made sense. All the loose ends and things that didn‘t make sense got tied up. The book ended in such a way though, that I had to immediately check out Copper River and start it. It‘s been a few weeks since I‘ve been to Fairhope. Those broken steps in the left middle picture were fine then; they must‘ve gotten destroyed in the last storm. They were pretty new. #audiowalk

I‘ve got less than 2 hours left in this book. It took a weird turn. One of the villains has no motive that I can determine. It was a beautiful day in the botanical gardens. #audiowalk

This is shaping up to be an interesting story. Cork has two investigations going on — one into who tried to kill him and another into the death of someone who was trying to get a contract to manage the Ojibwe casino. They seem unrelated, but is there a connection? We‘ll see. I walked at lunch today since it‘s supposed to rain later. #audiowalk

I suspect I might already know the bad guy, and I‘m only a few chapters in. But I could be wrong. It‘s supposed to rain like heck tomorrow, so I got out and walked as much as I could today. #audiowalk

I am really starting to love this series. Each one gets better and better. This one ended on a cliffhanger, and I was so glad it came from the library in a three volume set. Expect my review of the next one shortly! I recommend this series for any mystery lover waiting impatiently for the next book in your favorite series to come out.

I think his books keep getting better - intrigue, thought provoking plots, suspense - I can‘t wait to read the next one in the series. A solid 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
