Reliable action adventure with flawed but likable characters. Finished the audiobook over a two day road trip. The audio production was a little off. I liked the multiple narrators, but they added music and sound effects. Including several sudden gunshots. Not the greatest sound on a long day of highway driving. The story was solid enough that I downloaded the sequel to listen to on the way home.

Great (could have done without the cheesy music though)

Guessing the bad guy before the end didn't diminish my reading enjoyment. My first impression of Will Robie/this book was that it reminded me of a cross between the movie Wild Target and Lee Child's Jack Reacher character. I like both of those a lot, so this book was a pretty good pick for me.

[I thought this was my first Baldacci, but my log says I read one of his in 2006. 😂]

New author for me. Written with several twists and turns that keep the book interesting. Found that I didn‘t want to put it down closer yet the end because I wanted to see who the final culprit was.

This first instalment of Will Robie was a fun page turner. I enjoyed the two story lines and how they are ultimately woven together. The main characters are very interesting. It will be interesting to see if Robie will continue in his job of “off the books” paid hitman in future instalments. David Baldacci is one of my favourite authors.

Annual friends of the library book sale. Small haul due to pending Big Day. My buddy Eddie approved of these purchases.

I was in a mood for an entertaining no-brains thriller on audio. I randomly downloaded this audiobook from Overdrive, and I was not disappointed. Solid, entertaining mystery thriller. I will read more from Baldacci. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! Wieder einmal ein Buch im Schnellzug Tempo durchgelesen. Verschiedene Stränge, führen Personen zusammen, somit aber auch in Gefahr. Nr. 2 dieser Serie ist schon auf der Wunschliste.
