The Empathy Problem
The Empathy Problem | Gavin Extence
3 posts | 1 read | 4 to read
Gabriel is given only months to live after doctors discover a tumour on his brain. But something strange is happening... the position of the tumour is changing Gabriel's personality. He's becoming less selfish, less mercenary, less unlikeable. But it's a catch-22. The kinder and nicer Gabriel becomes, and the more people get to know the new, nicer version of him, the closer we draw to the inevitable...

I really enjoyed this - read it in a little over a day. The author took quite serious content and made it funny and witty. He makes you question what it means to be a “good” or “bad” person. The sarcasm and humour kept you reading.

Loving the sarcasm in this book. It‘s much funnier and more entertaining than I expected.
