This was excellent middle grade historical fiction on the treatment of Jewish refugees to Cuba during WWII. #MIDDLEGRADEMARCHTHROUGHTIME

Earl and I very much enjoyed this big hearted historical novel about a young Polish girl starting a new life in Cuba in the 1930s.

#EarlGrey warmly encourages me to listen to my audiobook this morning by lying on my legs in all his floofy glory.

This was an exceptional WWII novel detailing the lives of a Jewish family (Father and Daughter) working in Cuba to raise money to bring over their other family members. They are in a race against the Nazi machine. Jewish holidays are lovingly described as are the people and environment of mostly welcoming Cuba. A gorgeous audio production.
