Mehso-so

I bought this cowboy novel for #ReadTheRomanceAThon prompt @maich 2 short novels but I only read the tagged one. A second chances romance, Jessica who has Cherokee heritage comes from an abusive marriage & Dan who had a traumatic experience has Navajo heritage. The story was ok at the beginning but then was boring, like 1,000 times they say I love you🙄even the “sexy” scenes were boring😬It has a sequel which I will not read2.8⭐️

TheAromaofBooks Sometimes romance is cheesy without being fun 😕 3y
Gissy @TheAromaOfBooks you are right. Maybe was my expectation. I don‘t know when was the last time I read a cowboy novel. I like the old ones with their drama. Not my favorite type of story but I can read them sometimes. 3y

maich I'm sorry you didn't like it. 3y
Gissy @maich @TheAromaOfBooks I didn't expect the book to be funny. I knew it would be cheesy, but something in the story was not for me. But I'm still interested in read cowboy novels, maybe the old ones. Also, because of this novel, I want to read more about Native American: novels about them, books by Native American authors and about their legends which are beautiful. I didn't express all these comments before because didn't have the space🤠📚❤️ 3y
