⭐️⭐️ Typical YA Fantasy. The world building was decent, the supporting characters were expected, but entertaining, there was an actual plot. My issue with this book falls on the main protagonist Emberly. Her inner monologues are what destroyed this character. It was impossible to take her seriously when she‘s in the middle of dramatic action, but her inner thoughts are flashing to her “strange hair” It made the book amateur. For a younger crowd...
