Although I haven't read the original, I absolutely loved reading this one. The plot and the story is great and the characters are so interesting. I was hooked from the very start. The gorgeous illustrations made the story come alive. Also I love how fast you can read it.

Manga is a great, condensed and fun way to read boring, long-winded complex classics. The story literally came to life with the illustrated pictures👍

I spent a few hours sleeping and then woke up to finish one more book for #readathon! This was another great graphic novel adaptation of a classic novel. The story is clearly summed up and the art is wonderful.

I generally struggle with classics however I enjoyed this one and got really into it. It's is long and the language is a struggle at times but as far as classics go it's one I'd recommend. This is the life of Pip and his great expectations of life and all in all it's a throughly enjoyable read.

I remembered the beginning of this book when I had to read it in high school. As I mentioned I had to read it, so I didn't actually read through it all in high school. I found the Manga Classics version of Great Expectations to be a super quick and fun way to read Great Expectations. Now I want to read the original version.
