The illustrations in this book blow me away because it honestly feels like I‘m watching a movie. This is great for a child to really come up with what they believe is happening in the story and the dialogue they come up with. It‘s great for their imaginations.

This book has zero words so it really relies on the illustrations to tell the story. Every second I was reading this story I was amazed because although there are no words I understood everything that was happening. The use to perspective to play on how huge this secret world is, is amazing. The use of the simple crayons that the characters use to draw is really amazing because it tells what‘s really and what they come up with.

Our little girl returns to her land drawn thought the wall, and this time she is followed by dad. Together they adventure across the land to save the king and the colors. Excellent as always.

I am always mesmerized by the beautiful illustrations in his books. You don't notice that they are no words bc there really isn't a need for them. Hope there are more to come from Aaron Becker. #thebookishmama #kidlit #picturebook
