Is it extra ironic that this is the wrong "your" in a paragraph where they are talking about teaching??

From the balcony of my Paris hotel...and trust me, it makes my knees wobbly to go out there. This is a police procedural. British detectives are compelled to reopen a 30-year-old kidnapping when the mother of one of the girls commits suicide. Not gripping, but completely readable. Paris is, on the other hand, completely fascinating & amazing. Wish I wasn't heading home tomorrow.

Whilst the book was a pretty slow burn for 2/3s of the way, it was an interesting mystery that kept me guessing for the most part. The characters were especially interesting to me though. 3.5/5

It's not one of the best thriller books I've read but it definitely creates that shady-misty atmosphere that this kind of novel needs

This one kept me guessing who had done it all the way through and had lots of surprises involved.
