For @Lcsmcat - my fermentation books. 🫙🥒

Unboxing and shelving all of our books after painting. 😅
Can I just say painting is right up there with dusting? Ugh Lots more on the docket too.

Lcsmcat Thanks! I‘ll have to check those out. Major sympathy on the painting! It‘s a big pain for a minor-seeming benefit. As you said, it‘s like dusting. 10mo

Tamra @SamAnne it‘s such a great resource! They also have a Fiery Fements book that I want to check out. Yum! 4y
Jaimelire I am obsessed with Kimchi....maybe I should get this book. (edited) 4y
Tamra @Jaimelire there are several kimchi recipes, the first I want to try is with arugala! The authors also have a Fiery Ferments book which I am guessing would be fabulous. 4y
Jaimelire @Tamra I love arugula and I love kimchi....that sounds awesome 4y

Okay. Virgin post here. I love fermenting vegetables to save the produce of the season. Pickled asparagus, first attempt.

SqueakyChu Well...how were they?! 😃 6y
MrsLee I won't know for a week! I only packed them in the jar tonight, while I made asparagus soup with the ends. :) 6y
SqueakyChu Do you realize it was already ten years ago (I just now looked it up on #BookCrossing) when I sent you that book on peppers? Did you never leave the kitchen?! LOL!! Anyway, post here and let me know how the asparagus came out! (edited) 6y

MrsLee I will, if I can remember when they are ready. They only ferment about a week, but then sit in the fridge for a month to gain flavor. I was quoting from the pepper book today at lunch while my co-workers and I poured hot sauce onto our food. I think of you always when I'm playing with chilies in my kitchen. 6y
RaimeyGallant And welcome to Litsy! #LitsyWelcomeWagon Some of us put together Litsy tips to help new Littens navigate the site. It's the link in my bio on my page in case you need it. Or if you prefer how-to videos, @chelleo put some together at the link in her bio. 6y
MrsLee @RaimeyGallant thank you! I am working at navigating, and discovering new things all the time, like how to reply to comments! I will explore those links. 6y
RaimeyGallant Hope you find them helpful. :) 6y
MrsLee Well...when I click on that hashtag, it takes me to a page welcoming people, but I don't really see any hints? I will try @chello YouTube video, but have to wait until I can get on a computer. YouTube doesn't like my phone. 6y
SqueakyChu @MrsLee Aww! That‘s so sweet to think of me when playing with chilies in your kitchen. 😀 6y
RaimeyGallant Haha:) Sorry about that. The tips are at the link in my bio. Click on my name. 6y
MrsLee @RaimeyGallant Oh, thank you! 6y
