He does a great page turner! And this one is until it isn‘t. I loved his other books but this became reduced to rubble towards the end. He needs to learn how to write women. Weak damsel in distress cop and Texas chainsaw ending like a cheap horror movie that doesn‘t tie into the first book at all.

Randomly found this gem at the library last time we were there. I loved Dark Matter and can‘t wait to read Recursion, so this oldie was immediately intriguing. Told myself I wasn‘t going to check out any other books from the library since vacation is almost over, but I couldn‘t help myself 🤷🏻‍♀️ It‘s going very quickly!! Good so far!

Blake Crouch is a master at the messed up and terrifying. Locked Doors is no different. The second book in the Andrew Thomas/Luther Kite series (Desert Places was the first) is violent and disturbing. You stop breathing at multiple points. There is a bit of a dip in the middle of the book, where things slow down, but then the ending basically gut punches you.

This book has more, 'I've stopped breathing moments,' than Desert Places. I can't even, right now. #currentlyreading #ebook
