This book teaches a lesson about loyalty and working together. The egg would not go home nor would he let his friends go home until they all found the missing egg so they could be together again. It took all of the eggs working together to find the last one and eventually they did.
pickThis is a story about eggs, and some of the eggs escape from the carton. They all go out and play and do different things and they usually come back to the carton by lunchtime. There‘s one egg that stays behind and he worries when they don‘t return. He finally leaves the carton and finds the eggs, but won‘t return until all of the eggs are accounted for. They all work together to find her.
I cannot mark this book Read yet because my granddaughter wouldn‘t stand still long enough to finish. Our local metroparks and library team up to present the Storybook Trail. You walk the nature trail and stop to read the story at stations along the trail. Story changes every couple months. There are 4 cabins full of discoveries too. So much fun!
