Mary Dobson talks about 30 illnesses: their history, she describes the symptoms, the treatments, etc.
This book is very informative, really well done. It's interesting to know the first assumptions about some of the illnesses & their possible cures.
Sadly, some illnesses are still present in the poorest areas of the world. But, this book is full of hope, and puts forward the importance of hygiene & better infrastructures in fighting illnesses.

An interesting, educational read - can honestly say there were several of these I'd never heard of - from the plague 🐀 to onchocerciasis 👀 to heart disease ❤, it never hurts to know more about the things that have killed in the past and continue to kill today. #washyourhands #sanitationsaveslives #Carlas2020TBRList
