'A highly addictive thriller about blame and guilt with a satisfyingly shocking ending' Jo Jakeman, author of Safe House 'Excellent domestic noir, chillingly plausible. I was really caught up in the web of lies, and I loved the ending' Jo Spain, author of The Confession Naomi seems to have everything. A beautiful daughter, a gorgeous house, a perfect life. Behind the scenes, though, she and her husband are drifting from one another and struggling to conceive their second child. Then Naomi meets a parent at her daughter's nursery. Sean understands her, or so she thinks. Looking for a connection, for a friend, she joins him at a swimming lesson with their children. That day, Naomi makes a terrible mistake. Weeks later, when Naomi attempts to contact Sean, he has disappeared without a trace. But as she begins to piece her life back together, it becomes clear that someone else knows her secret. Someone who wants to make sure she never forgets what she did at the pool. An intelligent, searing and addictive thriller about family, desire and the lengths people will go to for the ones they love the most. 'Sexy, chilling and wonderfully twisty' Emily Koch, author of If I Die Before I Wake 'HAPPY EVER AFTER is insanely gripping . . . it's slick, smart and so very human' Cath Weeks, author of The Wife's Shadow

Mehso-so

This was an interesting story but I struggled to follow at times. It jumps around a lot and took a while to figure out who everyone was. I got there in the end but it slowed the story down. I also wasn't keen on the various articles slotted in. I found they affected the flow of the story. Between a pick and so so. #Netgalley

Don‘t bother reading this. Life is too short to read a rubbish book.

Pickpick

Finished this Proof copy of Happy Ever After this evening, just ahead of the book‘s publication tomorrow. Seems to get off to a slow start but the opening chapters set the scene very well and the book picks up the pace throughout. I enjoyed it.
