I am very excited for our group this round!
#LMPBC #GROUPX

LiteraryinLawrence Let the reading commence! 1y
BookwormAHN Yay😺 1y
MaleficentBookDragon @LiteraryinLawrence @BookishPiper @BookwormAHN I am an idiot. I left for a cruise today and forgot to ship out my book! I am so sorry! I will not be back until the 12th. I live alone so there is no one who can mail it for me. So if you want to skip me this round I totally understand. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤬 1y
BookwormAHN No worries. You can mail it when you get back. Enjoy your cruise. Besides I don't typically read them until the end of the month anyway 😺 1y
LiteraryinLawrence Don‘t worry about it! Have an amazing time on your adventure! 1y

Here are some options for our #LMPBC #GroupX
Why are these Gen X for me?
The Change = Gen X age MCs
Eight Perfect Murders = Gen X age MC
Killers of a Certain Age + Gen X author and older MCs
Ready Player Two = Gen X 80s Pop Culture and Gaming
Bookish People = Gen X age MC

Any of these sound good to you all?

@BookwormAHN @BookishPiper @LiteraryinLawrence

LiteraryinLawrence These are great options! I would be happy to read any but here is my preference order. The Change, Killers of a Certain Age, Bookish People, Ready Player Two, and last 8 Perfect Murders only because I read it already (though it was great). I‘m curious what everyone else thinks! 1y
BookwormAHN All of these sound good to me too. I've read the Change and 8 Perfect Murders but would happily reread them, especially The Change. That one would be fun to discuss 😺 1y
BookishPiper I have Bookish People and Killers of a Certain Age in my TBR 1y

I said no more bookclubs since my classes this semester are a little more challenging, bu tI couldn't resist.

Is anyone interested in doing a #GenX #round16 #LMPBC?

Books with a female MC over 40? Or takes place in the 70s or 80s? 80s pop culture? A Gen X author? Thrillers? Horror? Whatever Gen X means to you.

I've been reading/watching too many teen slashers and I need a change of pace.

I'd like to put up the above books as options.

@suvata

BookwormAHN I just up. I've read too many ya books recently 😸 1y
LiteraryinLawrence @bookwormahn I just signed up for the group too! What convinced me was that The Change, Remarkably Bright Creatures, and Tomorrowx3 are right at the top of my TBR list these days. So this must be the genre for me! 1y

BookishPiper I am new to this and this is my first mail in book club. I am excited, someone may have to fill me in on the details of how everything works. 1y
MaleficentBookDragon @BookishPiper welcome to our group! First up is we pick our books. I usually post a few to see if any are of interest to the group. I‘ll do that soon. 1y
