Alpha Flight recently showed up on Nathan Fillon's FB page. My husband & I read it back in the 80s; they teased the first gay comic book character for a long time. We grew frustrated and quit reading when Marvel chickened out and decided they'd rather the character confess to being a terrorist than to being gay. Northstar did eventually come out, but we never went back to reading the comics because we'd been so irritated by that story.
Happy Canada Day! Have you ever heard of Alpha Flight? Marvel's all Canadian superhero team. I buy these for @Johnstonjeremy86 whenever I see them to celebrate his Canadian-ness
