pickMy 8 year old recommended this one to me and it‘s brilliant. Read it in one sitting and loved it. It‘s divided into chapters so perfect for a middle school read as well. A number of jokes made me grin but mostly I just loved Red Panda and Moon Bear - such fun characters.

Red Panda and Moon Bear are Latinx siblings who, with the power of magic hoodies, a crystal, and improbably invented machines, fight crime and vanquish evil in their neighborhood. They help ghosts! They draw comics! They speak Spanish! They rescue dogs, who are definitely not aliens from another planet! This feels straight out of a kid‘s imagination in all the right ways. #kidlit
