#ucflae3414f19 This NF book is great for incorporating science within literature. This book supports the National Science Standards and it describes the habitat characteristics, and life cycle of chameleons. I used to love these types of books when I was in elementary school because I loved and still do love all animals! For this book I would have my students read this with a partner so that they can discuss the animal throughout the book.

Jewelwinkler The UDL guideline I would use for this book is 2.4 (Promote understanding across languages) as this book or certain key vocabulary could easily be translated into whatever language that is needed. The EL strategy I would use is number 43 (Have students underline or highlight key words or important facts in written assignments). 4y
Jewelwinkler This book would be perfect for a research type of assignment where the students would use the knowledge they read to write an informative essay, or complete a presentation. This is a link to learn more about how it is beneficial to integrate science within literature https://eric.ed.gov/?id=EJ989473. 4y

BRaulerson These books are a great way to integrate different subjects! I also like ones about weather - students love seeing real life photos about what they‘re learning! 4y
