Okay let‘s be honest and say I didn‘t like the ending because of one characters. Otherwise it was good

I'm re-reading this series. This is clearly one of her first books and it reads like one. The only couple I like in it are Mallory and David and they're background characters. The series does get better on the third book, but the first two are hard for me to get through.
It is rated above 4 in Goodreads , but it was an absolute torture to read it!
Josh was my Juke Box Hero this morning. He unloaded the car and took care of the dogs and let me sleep.

Want to be a Litsy Swap hero? We are creating a database of generous Littens who would be willing to send out a replacement package if needed. Head over to @LitsySwaps for more info! This is to help people who sign up for a swap, but never receive a package from their swap partner.
Sharing because I am grateful to the lovely @Smashlee who sent me a cozy blanket in my favourite colour and the book I‘m now enjoying when my match went missing.
Revisiting #Troubleshooters from the beginning. It's been long enough that I didn't remember any of the details so it was like a new book with vaguely familiar characters. Suz does secondary characters & plotlines so well. Sam Starrett is such a jerk in this one...you just know it is going to be the@beginning of good enemy to lovers story arc. #romantsy
Not the best of all the Troubleshooters books, but it's a solid beginning. I love the women in Brockmann's books; they kick ass and take names, and see their boyfriends when neither of them are out saving the world. Yes, there's romance, but mostly the books are adventure with a side of romance.
