While doing my Midsummer research I came across a poem by Larkin that knocked me flat. So I got his 4 books of poetry from the library. This is from his first. The whole thing - I gobbled it up in minutes. If you're a fan of George RR Martin, you'll dig this. Argh! Why must I clean instead of read!?

ErickaS_Flyleafunfurled I'm about to run out to the library too and grab more of this stuff! I love this post!! I love how Litsy helps me discover books I would have never known about otherwise. Thanks! 8y
mattgodfrey Damn. I'm gonna have to pull out my one little Larkin book. That's amazing. 8y
shawnmooney My favorite is "This Be The Verse," all of 20th century psychology in a profane, sacred nutshell! 8y
