Reality TV Bites
Reality TV Bites | Shane Bolks
1 post | 1 read
Allison Holloway may be one of the last holdouts: a true reality TV junkie. (Hey, there's no shame in admitting you enjoy watching the Donald say "You're fired!" for the millionth time.) But when her boss signs up their interior design firm for Kamikaze Makeover, Allison knows things are never going to be the same again. Dozens of cameras are set to tape every embarrassing moment as two teams compete for $3 million by executing a bold design concept using unorthodox materials (sex toys, anyone?). As if that wasn't bad enough, a hunky producer tries to seduce Allison with fine champagne and limo rides, while an equally hunky Dave wants to introduce her to the finer things in his life like beer and basketball games, and a piranhalike press hounds her day and night -- and let's not forget the vibrator wall art. Will Allison ever get her life back? Will she finally find her prince after kissing so many frogs? Join Allison as she fights back against the lies, the double-dealing, and the backstabbing to prove that she's a survivor even a gooey round of pudding wrestling can't defeat.

Cortg I prefer quiet but I don‘t mind if someone is watching a football or baseball game. 6y
LittleBug Depends on what‘s on tv😁 But I can read in any environment, no matter if it‘s quiet or loud, especially if the book‘s engaging😊 (edited) 6y
JanuarieTimewalker13 I don‘t like any noise whilst reading. I like complete silence. PS, I‘m not English, but I love the word “whilst” and I use it whenever I can. Lol 6y
CaroPi I need noise. TV or radio on 6y
inthegreensandblues I can't read if I can hear anyone talking. 🙁 There are some shows that have nature with no narration, or like fireplaces, etc that I might have on while reading or researching. Little background noises and a place to rest my eyes while I'm thinking. 6y
Kaye Quiet. Used to read with little kids in the house, tv on, making supper and still paying attention to my book. Now I need complete quiet. 6y
Bookdragon69 I prefer quiet but have been trying to train myself to read with some noise. I will leave the tv on really low but I am going to try some instrumental classical music to see if that works better for me. I hate that I can‘t read in a normal toned setting so hoping I can change this slowly. 6y
Amandajoy I don‘t mind the TV on if the volume is low. I‘m trying to get used to reading while the TV is quite a bit louder as my fiancé likes to watch TV while I read. 6y
LapReader I sit in the carriage on the train to read. 6y
klbwriting I read while my husband plays video games haha 6y
SleepyDragon Between sports (hubby), the preteen, and the toddlers, the tv is almost always on. Luckily I like some background noise when I read. Lol 6y
AJones Quiet time please. 🤫 6y
