Mehso-so

The first quarter of this novella was wonderfully atmospheric, imbued with creeping horror and intense menace. As soon as the threat became overt, though, my interest took a nosedive. Somehow, I never find demonic hotel stories as terrifying when you actually see the thing that's attacking everyone.
