With a calm, flowing text, this #PictureBook bio looks at Edward Hopper and his somewhat slow rise to fame in the art world. I really like the illustrations complementing Hopper‘s actual works as the text describes Hopper‘s life and feelings. Bio and bibliography at the end provide more in-depth info on Hopper and his works. #BBRC #LetterE

JamieArc I recently read the tagged book of short stories where the author chose a Hopper painting and wrote a story inspired by it. Some were great, some were meh, BUT it was so fun to keep flipping to the painting, copied at the beginning of the story, to see what was being referenced. 9mo
