so-soJack‘s podcast casting doubt about the guilt of a convicted murder becomes so popular it becomes a tv show and the man imprisoned is released on retrial. But then Jack starts to have doubts. Overall, I enjoyed reading this, but in the end the payoff wasn‘t really there and much of it was predictable.

Jack Quick produces a true crime show & helps free an innocent man, only now Jack is doubting Wade's innocence. When another woman is murdered, Jack knows he needs to set things right.
The synopsis to this sounded great, but the execution of it wasn't as exciting as it could have been. I feel it could have been better, but that doesn't mean it was a terrible read. 3⭐
Book was over 300 pages.

Born with resilience? Hmm I think we are born with some innate ability to be resilient to trauma but.. I feel also that it‘s one quality we can developed more. It‘s the whole coping skills practice thing :)
I did super good during the book haul and only got 2 books (I have tones in my home I‘ve been meaning to read. Anyway I‘m gonna start this one today (and it‘s stormy)
pickThis book was gripping and catches you from the beginning. The true crime pod cast was an awesome idea as it speaks to today‘s true crim readers and what they are following. Just when I thought I had it figured out it threw another twist taking a different turn. I did not see the ending at all and was a gasp ending for me. I would have liked more development of the characters but overall it was a great book. I would highly recommend this book.
