pickWell it‘s taken me a while to get through its 700 pages (no fault of the author of course) but yet another tour de force from Dawkins (and his co-author). All of life in one book. The beauty that is evolution by natural selection really is the greatest story of all.

The Ancestor's Tale is my 500+ pages pick. Awesome book that goes through the entire evolutionary tree and describes how we are related to every organism on the planet. It starts with Homo sapiens and goes down every branch to slime molds and single-celled organisms. If you are fascinated by biology and evolution, this is the ultimate book! My copy is being borrowed by a friend, so here's a "cousin" I photographed in Costa Rica. #funphotofriday
