I've been missing from Litsy for awhile so I am so far behind on my reviews. Going to try catching up.

This is the second Haig my book club has read and I will always be thankful for the introduction. Whilst I enjoyed the Humans more this is still a great read especially if you are willing to suspend your sense of reality. Which I definitely was.

Haig is quickly becoming an auto buy.

Mehso-so

If I was 14 I probably would have enjoyed this book much more. But as an adult I found it far too black and white, lacking nuance and subtlety and too moralistic for me. It really fell short of the only other Matt Haig novel I‘ve read, The Humans.

Latest book club read. I thought I wasn‘t going to get into this one. But I‘m already 50% through and currently hiding from my kids so I can read a bit longer. I should get them to do some more school work... maybe after one more chapter!
