Swatch: The Girl Who Loved Color
Swatch: The Girl Who Loved Color | Julia Denos
3 posts | 5 read | 1 to read
A vibrant picture book featuring an irrepressible new character perfect for fans of The Dot and Beautiful Oops! from acclaimed illustrator Julia Denos. In a place where color ran wild, there lived a girl who was wilder still. Her name was Swatch, and color was her passion. From brave green to in-between gray to rumble-tumble pink . . . Swatch wanted to collect them all. But colors don t always like to be tamed. . . .This is an exuberant celebration of all the beauty and color that make up our lives."

#Gratitude30 Day 4: Fats‘ review: “Fall in love with Swatch as she runs around town in search of colors! As a “#color-tamer,” Swatch sure knows how to make her world a colorful place. The book celebrates our “wild” side and inspires us to create a colorful masterpiece every chance we get.” Her full review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-cST

I read Swatch to my preschool art class this week and then let them capture colour with pipettes. Going to miss this group, I‘m done for the term today
