I feel like reading something new this afternoon!
Getting some outside time in this unseasonably warm weather. A week ago we had some snow....today I'm in flip flops.
Some of my favorite days are the mornings I wake up early with nowhere to go and am able to curl up with a good book and a hot coffee... Started this one yesterday. Found it in a used book warehouse on vacation not long ago.

I've never heard of the Gideon Mack book but it sounds AMAZING, and I thought I'd seen all booky gift items but the bracelet made from a book spine is new - and perfect - to me. pickRobertson is able to pull off a mixture of love, magic realism, religious ideology, and excellent character development. I recommend for anyone who loves unreliable narrators.
It's been pretty busy with school work and beginning preparations for my teacher placement. I'm halfway though the book and I'm excited to finish soon! Right now I'm thinking about Halloween haha #witchy #dogsoflitsy

Roy Porter presents an overview of medical history and looks at agriculture all the way to vaccinations. I saw this book #recommended on a BuzzFeed article about underrated books. I don't know why books with a religious theme appeal to me (as I'm an atheist) but I love unreliable narrators and this cover is gorgeous. So I'll read this instead of the 4 remaining books for my readharder challenge.
Despite my professed preference for facts, evidence and logical argument, I have always found giant leaps of imagination, which are akin to faith, exhilarating.
