If you're a hard core fan it's not for you, and by if you read comics it's not. I didn't feel like I was reading Tony Stark, it was all internal monologue, and childishness. Honestly he changed none from the first page to the last and he was 14 at the beginning. I did enjoy the new characters and the setting in Ireland. If you just like the movies or know a young kid who loves the movies this is for them. This book it not for comic lovers though.

Now this book was a fun ride that reminded me why I love Tony Stark so much. Eoin Colfer was able to bring Tony's snark and ego while also reminding us that Tony is a hero for a reason. Tony may be all bluster and bravado, but at heart he is a good man who wants to do the right thing and truly atone for the mistakes he's made.

Continuing with the theme of Superheroes, time to give Eoin Colfer's Iron Man novel a read!

A great and quick read. Love Iron Man and love his battles with The Mandarin.

This was a fun, light read. It feels like the Iron Man character is a little toned down since this is a children's book, but I still enjoyed it. It's great for younger readers and also adults who are hard core Marvel fans (yep, that's me!) :)

Technically this book says it's for ages 8-12 but it's about Iron Man and written by the author of Artemis Fowl...so yeah, I'm gonna read it. ;)
