San Diego Book Crawl haul! We waited until day 3 of 3, so we didn't bother trying to collect prizes (which were mostly gone, at least at the levels that were realistic for us to reach), and we also scrapped getting our passport stamped, but we did visit 5 bookshops and bought all these and 2 pair of socks. Favorite was the tagged shop, which I'd avoided because the name reminded me of a comics shop where a guy in college took me on a date.

I can‘t believe I filled a whole book bingo card! 😮🎉 I‘ve always regarded the many bingo-related posts here with equal parts admiration and certainty that I could never complete a full card, so I have defied my own expectations. 😄 It was super fun to weave this into my summer reading and to discover at the final hour (it was due today) that I could make the books I read this summer fit into every one of the categories.

So I stumbled upon Mysterious Galaxy bookstore because Charlaine Harris is doing a virtual event there for her new Gunnie Rose book. Whilst on their website, I saw this Literary Care Package option, in which they individually curate a box with books + optional literary accessories. I thought I‘d give it a try. Once you order (minimum purchase $10), you fill out a form with your preferences. Super excited to see what they send me!
