Nazi propaganda was 🤢 … while jazz music was banned in Germany, they have band ‘Charlie and His Orchestra‘, which played popular jazz and swing songs, but they changed original lyrics with very offensive and disturbing texts. Songs were then broadcasted on radio for British and US audiences with the purpose to plant the seeds of doubt in people‘s minds. Audiobook includes some of this songs - and that is the strongest part … 👇

Simona … of the rather superficial narration. It was decent #audiowalks companion, but I was missing more analytical approach. The book is Scribd original and isn‘t in the Litsy library, so I tagged the author‘s different book. (edited) 7mo
