Bohemian Manifesto
Bohemian Manifesto: A Field Guide to Living on the Edge | Laren Stover
3 posts | 6 read | 1 reading | 3 to read
Bohemianism is a way of life, a state of mind, an atmosphere. It is not a trend, its a timeless movement. It is about living beyond convention. BOHEMIAN MANIFESTO explores and joyfully celebrates the creativity, the originality, and the splendor of a lifestyle and spirit shared by free-thinking, free-living artists, poets, writers, sculptors, musicians, and intellectuals. This is the first book to distill and categorize all the ingredients of Bohemian life. In a witty and engaging style, Laren Stover examines the contents of a Bohemians closet, bathroom, and bookshelf. She explains the allure of absinthe, why it isnt wise to leave a Bohemian unattended in your home--you could return to find nude nymphs painted on your lamp shades--and how to identify what type of Bohemian you might be.

Mehso-so

This was between a so-so and a pan. I didn't hate it but it seems like a book written specifically to be a coffee table book. One to put on display, and maybe flip through for the pretty illustrations. But not one to be read too closely. If taken as a serious book, it could be seen as a bit pretentious 🧐 But if not taken too seriously, it's an entertaining look into the author's idea of the different types of bohemians ☮️✌🏾😌✌🏾☮️

Bohemianism is a way of life, a state of mind, an atmosphere. It's about living richly and irreverently, beyond convention. It's about being uninhibited, unbuttoned, creative and free. #septembowie #rebelrebel #tbr #theleavesarefalling

I spent the weekend in a wonderland of a place, celebrating the remission from cancer of two dear friends. Being surrounded by nature and art on such a scale was very #thoughtprovoking #aprilbookshowers. If you want to know more about the place, it's called WalkerWorld; http://www.walkerworldnc.com it's on the Cape Fear River in NC. The pic is of a sweet dog I met there.

JanuarieTimewalker13 Wow!! That place looks interesting!! Thanks for sharing! I have to learn more about Airbnb. My library had a book displayed about it, but I was sidetracked. 7y
Librarianaut @JanuarieTimewalker13 it was a completely different (and wonderful) experience. 7y
