I tried very hard to avoid the Book Outlet Black Friday sale, but when this is a $36 stack I couldn't help myself.
pickI found this book in a list of Best New Sci-Fi and I was frankly incredulous, given the amateurish cover. But—its great! A few chapters in, I love the Latina heroine, her galaxy-wide famous mom, her boyfriend with swirling-colored eyes..the idea that earth is hoarding chocolate and the galaxy and beyond wants it! #scifi #spaceopera
