Book 6 of the series. Another hard hitting, fast paced, tense story. This one had too many unanswered questions in the end but I guess those will be answered in book 7. I will keep plugging along through them.

There‘s always a rain storm. I liked that the girls had some perspective in this book. I would definitely read another C.J. Box.

#6 in the Joe Pickett series and it was so good!! This one was actually a tiny bit more exciting to me than the last couple from this series because it‘s a revenge story featuring characters and events from early in the series. Gosh, I loved it. I worried for Joe Pickett a few times but in the end I was definitely not disappointed.

I also listened to the audio which is expertly narrated by David Chandler💯

With fencing lessons, debate club, Boy Scouts, junior bowling league, book club, homeschool co-op, etc on hold for now, I feel like I can stretch out and take my time when I‘m prepping my vegetables and cooking dinner 🥦🥔🍗

There is no listening better than a Joe Pickett novel!!
