1 post | 1 read
When Eongus "Gus" McIntyre and his father are ambushed in the Black Hills in 1876, the 14-year-old is left to fend for himself. Fortunately he is rescued by a Texas cattle drive, making its way to lawless Deadwood. Menaced a second time by the gang that murdered his father, McIntyre solicits the help of Calamity Jane and an irascible but gentle trail cook who befriend him. Then, he puts his plan for revenge into action.

I love Gus McIntyre! Gus, a 14-year old boy traveling with his father to gold rush territory is ambushed. His father is murdered. All their belongings are stolen. Gus is left for dead. Alone in the Wild West, Gus must depend on his personal strength and skills to survive in this lawless land. Run Like the Wind pulls you into this western coming of age story while entertaining and scaring you at the same time. This needs to be a TV show.
