Seeing all the #Booked2019 posts has made me realise how little I‘ve read this summer - I can‘t shoehorn ANY of the books I‘ve read into any category (and I‘m pretty good with a shoehorn!)

Among the random things I‘ve been doing instead is learning (very basic) German. Apps, podcasts, you name it... DuoLingo keeps taunting me with horrors like this though!

Roll on October, definitely time to hit the books again 🍁🍂🍁

julesG It's a cruel reality though. Lots of schools no longer have a library. And the few that do are lacking staff to run it. 😬 5y
mrsmarch I wish I could stick with duolingo. It‘s hard for me to make it a daily habit. 5y
BookwormM I am learning Spanish via Duolingo 5y

batsy Like @BookwormM I'm learning Spanish on Duolingo... And now added the Latin module they've rolled out! I'm walking around the house saying some Latin words and feeling very clever 😂 5y
BookwormM @batsy I want to start the Latin what is your name on Duolingo wanna be friends? 5y
batsy @BookwormM Sure! I'm Subashini_N and I have no other friends on there 😂 I have not made the most of the website beyond the lessons. 5y
BookwormM @batsy you will be my 1st friend 🤣🤣 (edited) 5y
rockpools @julesG It‘s SO sad. And so short-sighted. 5y
rockpools @mrsmarch What language are you learning Rachel? I‘m enjoying combining it with podcasts so I hear real people talking this time. We‘ll see how long it lasts though 😉. My username is racheloakes5 if you want to add a friend (not too sure how that helps but 🤷🏻‍♀️) 5y
rockpools @BookwormM @batsy 👏👏👏 Latin? I‘m impressed! I was messing with Spanish last year, but didn‘t get too far. It‘s on my ‘One Day‘ list. racheloakes5 if you want another friend - I‘m friends with 1 person who was obviously pressing random buttons a couple of weeks back 😂😂 5y
batsy @BookwormM @RachelO Yay! I have two friends now 😂💜 5y
BookwormM We are friends BTW I am M on Duolingo 5y
