What is wrong with people?! How crazy are we going to get? Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head! Now Dr. Seuss? What next?!

Jaimelire I did not know there was something wrong with Mr. Potato head! What‘s wrong with potatoes? 3y
Pageturner1 @Jaimelire they are wanting to do away with the Mr. and Mrs. 3y
Jaimelire @Pageturner1 why? It‘s a potato. Or does it symbolize something I am unaware of? 3y

Pageturner1 @Jaimelire they are wanting it to be gender neutral 3y
Catherine_Willoughby There was a local heated argument about taking a husbands surname . Someone with a rare surname. Only 9 people on Facebook with my name (use a nom de plume here) . 2 are mine lol (Facebook keep blocking me on marketplace). Took my ex husband name but gave all my kids double barrelled surnames , mine is the last surname , mostly referred by that one 🙂 its a custom that we are losing to feminism. Not all movements bring good change 3y
AmyG Dr. Seuss books aren‘t being banned. The publisher is just choosing to not publish certain books anymore. You can still get used versions. As for the Potato, they are dropping the “Mr”. Still the same pieces so anyone can create a “Mr” or “Mrs” or whoever you choose. (edited) 3y
Jaimelire @Pageturner1 I am a teacher, kids stick a moustache, pink lips, glasses and a cowboy hat on that potato . You can‘t get more gender neutral than that😂. You can dress it up however you want. Banning it is ridiculous. (edited) 3y
Pageturner1 @AmyG why not publish books?? and why remove Mr and Mrs? i am not being defensive i just don‘t get it? seems crazy to me. (edited) 3y
AmyG What can I tell you? There is so much these days that I don‘t get. 3y
Tattooedteacher I don‘t really get anything anymore either. Craziness. 3y
jb72 I cannot believe what‘s going on sometimes. All I can do is be thankful my kids are grown. 3y

This is a gift book tie-in collection of extracts from Dr Seuss books, all relating to the theme of love and clearly aimed at the Valentine‘s Day market and includes classic Dr Seuss illustrations of characters such as the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 but it‘s an obvious cash in and as such, for true Dr Seuss fans only.
