Pickpick

Written in conjuction with a BBC TV series, Alistair cooke was a commentator I used to listen to in university. This book is an overview of America from the time when Columbus "discovered" it to about the 1970s or so.

LiteraryinLawrence Does anyone else who grew up watching Sesame Street remember Cookie Monster as Alistair Cookie? That is what first comes to my mind as an almost 40 year old. 😋 2y
