I just became an auntie so expect me to be unable to focus on anything else for a little bit 😅 About to put that child development degree to good use, just need to brush up a bit first haha.

Ruthiella Congratulations! Babies are such fun as an aunt! 2y

I don't know yet whether or not the advice in this book will actually be helpful, but it certainly has me feeling slightly more prepared to have a baby in a few more months. A lot of the framing of the advice as “ancient wisdom“ felt pretty dated, but it is a 13 year old book at this point. It seemed fairly practical, and I image I'll return to it as a reference in the future.

ImperfectCJ I last read this one when my first was a baby (she's 16 now), but I remember the techniques being quite helpful, if a little oversold, at least for my particular infant. The video was maybe even more helpful than the book. 2y
BethM Congrats! I reaD Cribsheet while pregnant and found that one helpful bc I‘m a science/research nerd. 2y
sebrittainclark @ImperfectCJ good to know about the video. I may check that out closer to my due date. 2y
sebrittainclark @BethM thanks for the recommendation, that sounds right up my alley 2y

Seriously a great read for new parents. The five S's were huge in getting out first little guy to sleep well!
