A Sucky Love Story
A Sucky Love Story: Overcoming Unhappily Ever After | Brittani Louise Taylor
6 posts | 5 read
Where does a moderately popular internet star who never leaves her house look for potential suitors? Online. Tinder, Bumble, Match.com, OkCupidI tried them all. My thirty-one-year-old self clicked and swiped her little heart out, leading to more dates than I could count, and more disappointment than I was prepared for. Maybe you can relate. Maybe you know all too well the perils of modern dating. But lets say, eventually, you meet someone. You think to yourself, Wow, theyre perfect! Take me off the market, put a ring on it, knock me up, the whole enchilada, because they are the one. Lets also say that they feel the same way about you. Your life starts to make sense! All the pain, heartbreak, and frustration from past failed relationships was worth it. Slow clap. Thats how I felt about Milos. He was from Europe, a doctor, wealthy, athletic. He had an accent and a dog. Milos was textbook marriage material. For him it was love at first sight, but for me, it was anxiety on every date. Something was telling me to runbut for two years, the only running I did was straight into his arms. If only I would have listened. This isnt a love story. Its my story of survival.

So I liked this. It has such a horrible story. I mean she was right to label this as a “sucky” love sorry. Some men are so horrible. It‘s amazing she made it out alive and sane! I‘m gonna try looking up her YouTube channel.

Went through this book so fast! It starts as a typical love story but ends up as a abusive relationship with a lot of manipulation. Could not stop listening to this one, so if anyone has simular recommendation plis post them below! ❤️

This is a story of a women‘s story of the dark side of online dating. She finds herself falling for a man who turned out to be someone he was not and someone she needed to protect herself and her family from. While this does start off with the cheesy side of the ‘love story‘ you do eventually get a look into what her ‘love story‘ became. It isn‘t the best writing in the world but it is a look at why caution should be taken with online dating.
