I feel like the Magna Edition that came before this really ‘jumped the shark‘. While there were some elements in this one that seemed to go back to the character and plot staples of the series, there are still so many unbelievable things that it borders on cartoonish. Looking forward to see how the tragedy involving Jessica & Elizabeth ultimately gets resolved.

In book 1 of this 6-part miniseries, everyone is still reeling from the events of the Jungle Prom (RIP Sam). Liz and Jess aren‘t speaking to each other. Liz blames herself for killing Sam while Jess lives with the guilt of being the one to spike their drinks (of course, she keeps this to herself!). Also, we get our first glimpse of crazy Margo. Things aren‘t looking too good for her foster sister. Shit‘s about to get real! 😆 3.5⭐️
